Porcelain Veneers
A veneer is a thin shell of porcelain that is bonded to the top of your tooth. Veneers can be used to close spaces between teeth, lengthen small or misshapen teeth, or change the color of dark/stained teeth due smoking, coffee, tea and other sources. The main advantages of porcelain veneers are that they are extremely natural looking and are resistant to future staining. In fact, porcelain veneers are custom-made in a dental laboratory to look exactly like the patient's teeth. Preparation is minimal and there are instances when no tooth reduction is needed.
Porcelain Crowns
You've probably seen someone with a dark stain around the gum line. Chances are that they have a crown composed of metal underneath the porcelain and after a while, the metal begins to show. We can now provide our patients with metal-free crowns which are just as strong as the metal ones, but will not show a dark line after a few years. All-porcelain dental crowns provide the best natural color match than any other crown type and may be more suitable for people with metal allergies.
Whitening
Dental bleaching, also known as tooth whitening, is a widely employed procedure in cosmetic dentistry. The goal of this procedure is to revitalize the luster and brightness of the teeth through the use of chemical agents. In most cases, hydrogen peroxide is the active chemical; carbamide peroxide may be used for application, but it soon degrades into hydrogen peroxide while inside the mouth.
The ZOOM!® chairside whitening system is a safe, effective and fast way to brighten your teeth in a single office visit. The ZOOM! procedure is much more convenient than wearing trays or strips, making it a great choice for our busy patients.
ZOOM! is done in the office during one visit lasting 1-2 hours. At your appointment we apply a gentle, hydrogen peroxide-based whitening gel to your teeth. The gel is then exposed to a high-intensity light. After the treatment, your teeth will be up to 6-10 shades whiter.
Smile Makeovers
Smile makeovers, or "smile lifts," rejuvenate and beautify the entire smile by correcting "gummy" smiles, gaps between teeth, and stained, yellowed, chipped, worn, uneven or missing teeth. The procedure widens and brightens the smile, providing support to the lips and helping make the entire face appear younger and healthier. At the initial consultation, a cast of your mouth will be made so the dentist can determine which treatments are best (i.e. whitening, bonding, veneers/laminates, crowns, inlays and onlays). In as little as one visit, patients can stop being self-conscious and enjoy the freedom and confidence of an attractive and natural smile.
Restorative Dentistry
Many dental conditions damage the tooth and cause aesthetic and functional changes that require special treatment. These services can repair or replace teeth depending on the extent of their damage. Restorative dental procedures include fillings, dental crowns and bridges, porcelain veneers, dental implants, dental bonding, dentures and root canals.
Full-Mouth Reconstruction
Mouth reconstruction involves restoring all of the teeth in both the upper and lower jaws through the use of restorative materials like crowns, bridges, veneers and dentures. This treatment is not the same as a smile makeover, which is usually performed for cosmetic purposes. Instead, mouth reconstruction is a necessary treatment performed to preserve the patient’s oral health.
Implant Dentistry
Individual Implant Crowns, Implant-Retained Fixed Bridges, Implant-Supported Removable Prosthesis:
Dental Implants are the ideal way to replace missing teeth without involving or compromising any adjacent teeth or when multiple or all teeth are lost. Dental implants are made of a bio-compatible material which do not decay like natural teeth can. A dental implant or implants are inserted in the bone and used to replace the root of the tooth. Depending on the individual case, a single tooth or multiple teeth can then be fabricated utilizing the implant or implants as anchorage. For those patients who suffered daily from uncomfortable dentures that loosen or come off easily, or have ulcers from the constant friction, implant therapy can offer hope and relief. A small number of implants can be used to secure a new denture which will not move or come off. Dental implants can be used to enhance your smile, health and confidence.

General Dentistry
General dentistry involves the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of a wide range of dental conditions for patients of all ages, as well as the maintenance of overall oral health. This comprehensive care from a general dentist is usually the only source of care patients require for their dental needs. There are several different dental specialties, but general dentistry encompasses the basics of these specialties.
You can prevent dental conditions by seeing your dentist on a regular basis. Regular visits to the dentist are recommended at least once every six months in order to maintain proper oral hygiene and screen for any potential problems. Receiving regular checkups can help improve your dental health and prevent major problems from developing. These checkups involve a full mouth cleaning as well.
